Born and raised in Gardiner, Edna is a real Maine native! After moving to Belfast in 1981, she met and married her husband David in 1991. Together, they worked on the coast of Maine harvesting marine blood worms for many years. Edna attended the University of Maine in Augusta, but decided to get into real estate while taking an elective real estate law class. She received her Maine real estate license in June 1988 and her broker's license in 1994.
During her real estate career, Edna has earned top producer, million dollar producer, most listing and most referrals awards. She has also served on the board of the Mid-Coast Board of REALTORS and the Affordable Housing Committee for five years. She enjoys meeting and helping people - a perfect match for a real estate career where she is afforded the opportunity to meet all types of people from all walks of life. She finds each one unique and precious.
Edna enjoys fundraising for her church and other community organizations. She has served on the board of the local YMCA and was very involved with the aquatics programs there. Her other interests include gardening, canning what she has harvested, and most of all her seven grandsons, three of whom she adopted. She has four grown children, the last now in college studying to be a music teacher.
