Gayle was born and raised in the Bangor, Maine area. She currently lives in Hampden, Maine in the house where her husband Jim grew up and where Gayle and Jim raised their two daughters. She attended the University of Maine and majored in Liberal Arts and Interior Design. After college, Gayle worked as a bookkeeper for a small company and, soon thereafter, married her high school sweetheart.
After being a stay-at-home mom for thirteen years, her lifelong dream came true. She was hired by a local building contractor and became involved with most aspects of new home construction. "My dream of working as a carpenter came true, but after two years of taxing my body, I had to give it up."
But, Gayle's passion for homes did not fade and she started her own Interior painting and consulting business. For fifteen years she painted everything from old Victorians to new million dollar homes. In 2006, the physical aspects came back into play and the next step in her career became evident - real estate! "My love of people and my passion for homes made real estate a perfect match. And my knowledge of home construction has been beneficial to the clients I have assisted in finding the home of their dreams."
Presently, Gayle and Jim have five wonderful grandchildren and also enjoy travel, golf and decorating. Their newest passion comes in the form of two Maine Coon Cat kittens, who have stolen their hearts.
